The chilly mornings and warm afternoons are a clear indication that it's fall in New Hampshire! This weather pattern also unfortunately means our lost & founds are already overflowing with sweatshirts! Please remember to label all garments so they can be returned if misplaced.

Our annual Open House is next week. This event is always a great opportunity for our students to show our school to their family members. It's a high-energy evening, and we look forward to it each year. We hope to see everyone there.

Unity Day was a roaring success today! The LMS teachers and staff put in countless hours to prepare activities for our students to enjoy, and Mother Nature provided an outstanding day weather-wise. Our students came through as they always do with their fun, competitive spirit and seemingly endless energy.

The past couple of weeks have been good ones at LMS. We are fully back into the routine of school, and students and teachers new to the building have quickly learned their way around and become vital pieces of our school community. Visits from others livened things up this week in particular. Tate Singleton, former Lebanon student and current pro hockey player came and spoke to our students about perseverance. And a group from Dartmouth College shared information about indigenous cultures with our Pine Team (5th grade). And, of course, Picture Day was very exciting!

We are preparing and getting excited for our annual LMS Unity Day on Friday, September 25th. It's always a good time, and a great way for our grade-level teams to learn more about each other and work to support one another.

We had a fantastic first few days at LMS! Our school was full of smiling faces throughout the day, as students and teachers connected again after the summer break. The enthusiastic "LMS ROCKS" chant during our day 1 assembly was the loudest we've had yet. The professionalism and care for LMS students was on full display this week, as preparations turned to execution and students reaped the benefits. Spirits are high for another great year, and we know our students will continue to do great things as they always have. Have a great weekend, everyone.
